New drone footage has captured the latest progress at Abri’s flagship regeneration project, The Granges, as construction continues to move forward at pace.
Less than a year since work began in August 2025, construction is well underway on the first 182 new homes across Blocks C and D. The project has also reached a major milestone with the demolition of Winwood, the first of the four existing tower blocks, marking a significant step in the regeneration of the site.
Alongside the building work, improvements have been made to community room. The refreshed space has been transformed into a vibrant, practical and welcoming chill-out area for the local community.
Residents have remained at the heart of the project throughout. Through the ebrik customer platform, residents have been able to explore the design of their future homes and have a say in colour choices, helping personalise their new spaces.
Importantly, this regeneration is being delivered while residents remain living on site – reducing disruption and avoiding the need for temporary moves away from their community.
Once complete, The Granges will replace 192 existing homes with 413 new apartments and houses, all 100% affordable, alongside extensive new landscaping and open space.
The first homes are expected to be completed in early 2027.
