Biodiversity and the natural landscape will play a key part in the new development. When it is completed, we will have put back at least 10% more planting and wildlife habitat than exists now. This includes the planting of many new trees.
The existing Community Orchard, which has 19 trees, will be a key feature of the redevelopment and will be relocated within it.
In early 2025 we put fencing around the Community Orchard for protection until it is relocated.
