“Visiting The Granges in Windsor, exactly a year after work started on site, I was blown away by how much progress has been made over the last 12 months. The first two blocks of homes are well underway and in just over seven months 61 households can look forward to moving into their new homes - a mix of high-quality sustainable flats and town houses.
“But regeneration is about more than just buildings. It’s about investing in the community, and I was delighted to hear about the range of community activities that have been taking place with our partners. This has included helping fund Sunday opening hours at the library, revitalizing the outdoor space at the nearby Age Concern, employing local people on site and donating to local charities such as Windsor Foodshare.”
